Privacy policy
Refacto Terminal is operated by The (Digital) Ad Lab LLC. This page says what we collect, why, and what we never do — in plain language, because that's the whole point.
What we collect
Account: your email address and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash — we cannot read it). Your use: the markets you watch, saved screens, paper-portfolio entries, and — if you join the community — your posts, votes, and self-declared country. Verification: when you confirm your email, we record that you did.
What we use it for
To run the product: sign you in, sync your watchlist between the website and the app, send account emails (sign-in confirmations — never marketing), and keep community participation limited to places where prediction markets are available. That's it.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers, or use third-party tracking SDKs in the app. The iPhone/iPad app contains no advertising and no analytics trackers.
Advertising on the website
The website (not the app) may show ads served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies as described in Google's advertising policies. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
Market data
The site shows data from both Polymarket and Kalshi. Prices and market information come from their public APIs; your requests to our server are not forwarded to either exchange with your identity.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data while the account exists. Email ken@thedigitaladlab.com from your account address to delete your account and its data. Community posts are removed from public view on deletion.
Your rights
Wherever you live — including under GDPR and CCPA — you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. One email does it: ken@thedigitaladlab.com.
Children
Refacto Terminal is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with the date. Last updated: September 4, 2026.
